Our church's Children's ministry views each child as important and a contributing member of the congregation. Children are precious gifts to us from God. We love their creative and challenging lives. Children are a high priority at Fairfield First Baptist Church, just as they are to Jesus Christ.

Our mission is to partner with parents to cultivate the spiritual growth of their family. We provide opportunities for faith development through worship, Bible studies, games and crafts. As we consider each child, issues they face in these changing times, and realities they must conquer, we believe it is our responsibility to offer them the building blocks that form their faith.

Our goal is for children to learn about God's love in a safe, secure and loving environment. We want children to know that they are loved unconditionally by God and that they should share that love with everyone. Background-checked adult volunteers minister the love of God through example and by teaching Christian principles to our children.

Adventure Club

Wednesdays 6:30-7:30pm

Adventure Club is for our older children. Each Wednesday we will teach them lessons rooted in the Bible, and work to train them up in the way they should go. These children are walking head first into an increasingly challenging world, but if they face it with Jesus they will thrive. We end with a group game in the gym!

Cubbies (Preschool-K)

Cubbies learn about Jesus through Bible stories. We then make crafts related to the stories, sing songs, and play games.

Sparks (Grades 1-3)

Sparks is part of the AWANA Clubs ministries. Sparks Club members receive a book and a vest. As the children memorize and recite Bible verses in their handbook they earn patches and jewels to display on their vest. Each Wednesday night Sparks has a lesson time where they will learn a brief overview of Biblical events. In 3 years of Sparks we will look through Genesis to Revelation. At the end of each Wednesday the Sparks join the 4-6 grade group for game time in the gym where they enjoy fun team building activities.

T&T (Grades 4-6)

T&T’s will focus on who Jesus is. We will explore 102 titles and adjectives the Bible uses for Jesus, alphabetically A-Z. Our hope is for the kids to get to know Jesus better and realize how awesome He really is!
